Brandon Foster - Founder & Lead Instructor
With nearly a decade of real-world experience in law enforcement, and firearms and tactical
training, Brandon Foster is the founder of Homefront Solutions. The mission of Homefront
Solutions is to equip civilians, law enforcement, and security professionals with the confidence,
competence, and character to protect themselves and others—on the range, in their
communities, and in the moments that matter most.
Throughout his career, Brandon has worked in high-risk, specialized roles, encompassing six
years as a police officer with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, and three years
with the Cedar City Police Department in Utah. He has served on a narcotics task force,
operated as a SWAT team member, and is certified as both a firearms instructor and a
defensive tactics instructor. His expertise includes hands-on experience in surveillance,
operational planning, active-shooter response, and critical incident tactics.
Brandon has been part of an officer-involved shooting, giving him firsthand experience in life-
or-death engagement. This reality shaped his mindset-driven approach to training—focusing
not just on skill, but on decision-making, discipline, and responsibility.
Grounded in his Christian faith, Brandon believes that preparedness, courage, and protecting
others are responsibilities entrusted to us by God. His instructional approach emphasizes
integrity, humility, and stewardship—with the learning objective for each student to become
proficient in managing firearms safely, ethically, and with a paramount respect for the gift of
life.
